Searches can be performed by flight number, callsign, aircraft registration number, or ICAO 24-bit transponder address. The API accepts local date range parameters, which can be applied to departures, arrivals, or both, offering maximum flexibility when filtering relevant flights.
When a query is made, the API returns structured data for each flight within the requested range. This includes complete information on origin and destination airports, such as IATA/ICAO codes, name, city, country, coordinates, time zone, and assigned terminal or gate. In addition, scheduled, revised, and estimated times are included in both UTC and local time formats, facilitating integration with end-user applications or internal logistics systems.
Information on the current flight status (e.g., “Departed” or “Expected”), distance between airports in multiple units, and data quality (such as whether it is real-time or basic information) is also provided. The API includes technical details of the aircraft used on each flight, such as model, registration, mode S, and whether it is a cargo or passenger flight. The operating airline's data is also clearly presented, including name and IATA/ICAO codes.
