Fake Data Generator API is a tool to generate fictitious user profiles and perform validation tests.
The API requires no input, and returns dummy user data in JSON.
Population of test databases. Testing of registration forms. Validation of user verification processes in QA platforms.
Beside the number of API calls per month allowed, there are no other limitations.
There are different plans suits everyone including a free trial for small amount of requests, but it’s rate is limit to prevent abuse of the service.
The API uses API keys for authentication. To access the API, include your API key in the request header. The API key is provided upon registration and should be kept secure.
The API returns detailed information about the age and history of a domain, including years, months and days since its creation, as well as expiration and update dates.
The Generate Identity endpoint returns a variety of personal and business data, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, company names, job titles, and addresses. It also includes credit card details for payment simulations.
Key fields in the response include `firstName`, `lastName`, `emailAddress`, `phoneNumber`, `dateOfBirth`, `company`, `department`, and `address`. The `creditCard` object contains `cardNumber`, `expirationDate`, and `cvv`.
The response data is structured in JSON format, with personal information and business details organized in key-value pairs. The address is nested within an `address` object, while credit card information is encapsulated in a `creditCard` object.
The endpoint provides personal information (names, contact details, birth dates), business data (company names, departments, job titles), and financial data (credit card details) for testing and simulation purposes.
Currently, the Generate Identity endpoint does not accept parameters for customization. Each request generates a random identity with predefined fields, ensuring a diverse range of outputs.
The data generated by the Fake Data Generator API is entirely fictional and created algorithmically. It does not rely on real-world data sources, ensuring that all information is suitable for testing without privacy concerns.
Typical use cases include populating test databases, simulating user registrations, validating form submissions, and testing transaction processes in applications without using real user data.
Users can integrate the returned data into their applications for testing purposes, such as filling out forms, simulating user interactions, or validating data processing workflows, ensuring their systems function correctly with realistic inputs.
To obtain your API key, you first need to sign in to your account and subscribe to the API you want to use. Once subscribed, go to your Profile, open the Subscription section, and select the specific API. Your API key will be available there and can be used to authenticate your requests.
You can’t switch APIs during the free trial. If you subscribe to a different API, your trial will end and the new subscription will start as a paid plan.
If you don’t cancel before the 7th day, your free trial will end automatically and your subscription will switch to a paid plan under the same plan you originally subscribed to, meaning you will be charged and gain access to the API calls included in that plan.
The free trial ends when you reach 50 API requests or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
No, the free trial is available only once, so we recommend using it on the API that interests you the most. Most of our APIs offer a free trial, but some may not include this option.
